21' Chiefton in the ocean?

I’m very slowly restoring my 21 foot ’74, 165 HP Chiefton cuddy cabin. I was wondering how these boats do out in the rough stuff? Does anybody else have one of these and run it out in the ocean? The V is not as sharp and aluminum is a lighter then my fiberglass boats even though they are a little smaller. Am I in for a rough ride? I usually don’t go out in the ocean when the waves are over four or five feet unless things happen to get rough when I’m out there and then I head in. Also what can I expect for fuel mileage?
