20hp evinrude no spark. 1977

I just got a 20hp evinrude I think it's a 1977. Anyway I know nothing about these motors. I was wondering if any body knows why Im not getting any spark?also there is a 3 prong wire on the outside of the motor does anyone know what this is for? Sorry about the dumb questions but like I said I no nothing about these motors. Thanks

That would be for the AC lighting system.----These types of questions need to have a picture attached for instant identification on whether it is factory stuff or owner modifications.

Thanks. No body can find this model number. Even evenrude dealership.its 207 B62S. I found the 207 B62 but no S. but I'm sure that's it. Anyway I heard Canada only made them from 1977-79 or something. But the wire with the 3 female end that sticks out the side of the motor and it has a flap that covers it. I'm lost on what it does. Thanks
