NFL Covid Update:
  • Steelers
  • Dolphins
  • NFL owners unanimously approve playoff expansion if COVID-19 forces cancellation of meaningful games
  • Just three days after the Las Vegas Raiders and head coach Jon Gruden were hit with a massive fine and stripped of a draft pick for repeated COVID-related violations, a wide swath of teams appeared to break key portions of new protocols the NFL set forth last week.

  • Note from Aaron Rodgers:

"You can go down to practice and hit each other and be in close contact, but you have to have plexiglass in between you and the guy next to you in the locker room," Rodgers said. "You can dap up a guy after the game, but you can't eat at the same lunch table as a teammate?"
  • The Baltimore Ravens announced on Thursday that a player has tested positive for COVID-19. The news comes three days before the Ravens are slated to host the New England Patriots on "Sunday Night Football."

i guess my Titans (as a resident i'm obliged to say 'my') need to be treated like my Chiefs used to be. Never count on the win....

Yeah, I teetered on that one too. In the end I couldn't quite pull the trigger. Buck fever, I guess.

‘Yeah I know , back to reality ...
But the Jags ALWAYS play the Steelers tough ..
Stillers got to lose one sometime ...

Brees has a collapsed lung and 5 broken ribs ... total injury is an accumulation of 2 weeks worth of hits. Hoping he recovers quickly!

Only 3 of us picked the Vikes. They've been playing good ball lately. No I haven't been a Homer all season.... They need to get away from Cook. Calls are too obvious.....
The missed xtra pt could be very costly..

I was scared picking the Vikings, but went for it. Never a good feeling knowing that Cousins is 0-9 for Monday night games. It was close. The Bears defense is good, but their offense...not so much.

Offensive coordinator couldn't call a play to save his life.

I couldn't decide and went with the home team even though the Bears have been playing dismally the last few weeks. Then, right before game time I was ready to switch to the Vikes when I see Cousin's success rate on MNF. Figured I better stay right where I was. 10 minutes later the Vikes were marching down the field and I was kicking myself.

I wonder if home field is worth much this year without stands full of boisterous cheering fans for the home teams.

Almost recovered from the Bills, Cards game. I would rather loose like that to a good team than the 45-7 losses in the previous 20 some odd years to not so good teams. I might need a few more years to recover, 4 consecutive Super Bowl losses never heals, the Music City Miracle has left a faint scar on my phyche. We are still leading the AFC Eeast with everyone other than the poor Jets playing well mid season. It ain't gonna be easy.

I don't think it's making much of a difference if any at all from what I've seen.
Not sure the Bears defense was that great, the Vikes play calling was too obvious. Went to the well too many times with Cook. 1st play of the game should have been Jefferson and/ or Thielen on a fly pattern. Not to Cook....
