• Truck racer Spencer Davis has tested positive for COVID and will miss the X-Race at Michigan.
• Nascar has released the playoff schedule for all three series. No split weekends like we have this weekend. Details at Jayski.com
• Beginning this at Michigan, on restarts drivers can choose which lane to restart in, just like the leader can pick inside or outside. Most races will use this new choose rule.
• Beginning at the Daytona road course race, a new method will be used to determine the starting lineup. No more starting spot random draws after that. Details on the choose and line procedures at Jayski.com
• TV ratings - NBCSN drew 2.2M viewers at New Hampshire. Last year the draw was 2.8M viewers.

• GA_Boater won iFL at New Hampshire. Keso won a big lobster, Humpty only gave me a :first:
• FlaCowboy is hanging on the the top spot n the leader board by 32 points.
• iFL roster locks on Saturday at 3:15 PM ET. Sundays lock time TBD, guessing sometime around 4:30. Sunday's lock will be updated after iFL is usdated with Saturday's results. I do not like the back-to-back weekends.

Missed the start of the Truck race. Moffit won the 1st heat with a couple of spinners.

Sauter takes heat #2, then a big wreck to start heat #3.

Zane Smith gets his 1st career Truck win. The race featured 11 cautions, 2 attempts at a green/white/checkers finish and one truck bursting into flames.

I missed the race. The "trucks" are fun to watch, usually much more racing, bumping, banging.

The restarts were fun. That was when most the wrecks happened.

X-Men on the Mid America road course is on at Noon. That's Eastern time.

2 laps in and 1st yellow for Currey. His car smoked and died on the outside of one of the corners in a not so good spot.

Back to yellow. Now the question is rain tires or not. Parts of the track are wet and parts dry. The track is 4.08 miles around.

Cup inspection at Michigan results - Gase and Johnson to the rear today for 2x inspection failures. They join Newman and Buescher for illegal spoilers. Roster locks at 4:15.

Some X-Cars went with rain tires, some stayed on slicks. This could be interesting.

Restart and and back to yellow for a car blowing up. Didn't make a lap.

Looks like the cars with slicks are going to rain tires.

Cindric held off the Dinger for the Road America win. Harvick and Hamlin are battling for the lead at Michigan 1/2 way through the first stage
