Thu Nite.............

FOX

Chiefs(4 - 2) vs Denver(2-4)

Injuries:
Chiefs
Sammy Watkins(WR) hammy out.

QB injuries:
Pitt - Mason Rudolph cleared concussion protocol and should return week 8 after their week 7 bye.
Chiefs - Mahomes still has a sore ankle, he should play. He wasn't at his best last week.
NO - Drew Brees is slated to return before week 9, their bye. Teddy has done well while filling in, their 4-0 w/o Brees.
Panthers - Cam Newton should be back at practice after this weeks bye and ready for play week 8.
Bears - Mitchell Trubisky practiced Monday, no word if he's playing this week.

Team with no name - If Antonio Brown wants to return to football in 2019, he's likely going to have to wait until the NFL completes its investigation. And they're in no hurry to complete it....
Bengals - AJ Green has not practiced and sounds like he's out for week 7
Rams - Todd Gurley was on the field today. Game time decision.

BIGGEST MOVERS
Up 8 VIKINGS
Down 8 EAGLES
1
team logo

Patriots
It's looking more and more like they will have an easy ride to the Super Bowl. Which team in the AFC can stop them?--6-0-0
2
team logo

49ers
That defensive front is truly special. It's the kind of dominant unit that can carry a team a long way. What happens when
Jimmy Garoppolo
plays better?
--5-0-0
3
team logo

Saints
Teddy Bridgewater
is 4-0 as a starter, which is truly impressive considering the opponents. The defense has really dominated.
--5-1-0
4
team logo

Seahawks
Russell Wilson
continues to play at a high level. How high? He's the MVP if the season ended right now.
--5-1-0
5
team logo

Packers
It wasn't pretty against the Lions, but they found a way. The offense still isn't quite clicking yet, but it's getting there.--5-1-0
6
team logo

Bills
They come off their bye with a relatively easy game against the Dolphins. It's time the offense got cranked up to complement the defense.14-1-0
7
team logo

Ravens
Lamar Jackson
was outstanding against the Bengals. But now they face a tough challenge on the road at Seattle.
44-2-0
8
team logo

Panthers
Kyle Allen
just keeps winning games, but it's been more about the defense. That unit is getting after the quarterback in a big way.
44-2-0
9
team logo

Raiders
They come off their bye just a half game back of the Chiefs in the division race. But they face a brutal road game at
Green
Bay.
43-2-0

Vikings
Kirk Cousins
was sensational against the Eagles. Maybe the big-game failures are behind him. If the offense plays like that, they can win a lot of games.
84-2-0

Tough to do an accurate injury report as it changes daily and teams don't start practice until Wed.....

Injury report update;

According to Bleacher Report Patrick Mahomes' ankle will be the subject of a prayer service at a KC area church. They will be praying during Sunday services for his ankle to heal so they don't lose 3 in a row . It must be retroactive prayer with the Chiefs playing tonight or one of the congregation owns that special Delorean.

Should have prayed over his knee - Mahomes is out and won't return.

KC is still up 20-6 over the Broncos. 2 minute warning, 1st half.

Mahomes may be out 3 weeks, possibly longer, after dislocating his kneecap last night. OUCH!

In sports injuries come in 2's and 3's. Mahone's sprained ankle contributed to a dislocated knee cap, I'm positive. Every time I injured my leg I had another injury on the same or opposite leg. Recovering from a torn left hammy then tore the right MCL. Had a sprained ankle then tore the ACL on the same leg. It happens all the time.

Yep, hold my breath until the end of my Bills game. They played the 1st half like they were still on the bye week. The number 3 defence in the NFL playing the #32 offence. my goodness they sucked in the 1st half .I knew this could be a sucker game Maybe they got a shot of "lets wake up" at 1/2 time. I always liked Ryan Fitzpatrick, maybe because he was a Bill. He might be the most intelligent Football player in the NFL. A Rogues Scholar. A squeaker, the score doesn't mirror the nice game Miami played. The Bills got a gift.

Ian Rappaport Mahone will miss the next 4 to 6 weeks. It didn't look that serious when he walked off the field, he didn't even limp and he was standing in the locker room when he met his guys coming off the field. One tough kid.

'they' say 3 weeks.

the fans consensus is we want him out until after our bye (four more games), plus bye.

An older lady I know dislocated her knee cap a month ago. She walked on her leg for about 3 hours before we took her to the ER and discover the dislocated cap then. She was hobbling in 2 weeks and climbing stairs in 4 (gingerly but getting it done). Based on her day of reaction and recover and the age difference, I get the issues showing up more later than at the actual injury time. I also get where he could be game ready in 3-4 weeks.

Yea actually I remember partying it up at a 5th quarter after I tore my knee up the 1st time. I sure was feeling it the next day after the Molsons wore off.

I hope Mahones gets back ASAP but not too early. I remembering the Washington brass nearly crippling a young RG3 playing on a torn ACL.

Speaking of coming back from injury .. Foles is cleared to start limited practice this week . I believe that you shouldn’t loose your starting job because of an injury but I must say . The rookie Minshew has sure played well for us ..
After Bortles ,seeing our receivers catching passes in stride , sure is refreshing...
