Power Rankings

BIGGEST MOVERS
Colts up 5
Texans down 4

A little shakeup in the rankings this week...
1
team logo

Ravens
They have clearly established themselves as a Super Bowl contender.
Lamar Jackson
is the main story, but that defense is improving by the week.
--8-2-0
2
team logo

Patriots
They have to get the offense going, but they will. I think Bill Belichick is using the regular season to get the offense right - much like he used to do for the defense.--9-1-0
3
team logo

49ers
The defense had some issues against the Cardinals, which is concerning. It has to be better as the schedule gets tougher, starting this week against the Packers.--9-1-0
4
team logo

Packers
They come off their bye with a tough one against the 49ers on the road. I can't wait to see
Aaron Rodgers
against that defense.
--8-2-0
5
team logo

Saints
They got the offense back on track against Tampa Bay. What happened against the Falcons? I still can't figure that out.--8-2-0
6
team logo

Vikings
That was an impressive second half against Denver. But they can't do that against good teams. The defense has to tighten up some.--8-3-0
7
team logo

Seahawks
They come off the bye with a tough road game at Philadelphia. The defense has to be better going forward.--8-2-0
8
team logo

Bills
They rebounded nicely against Miami.
Josh Allen
had one of his best games. As he improves, so will this team.
17-3-0
9
team logo

Raiders
They have made strides on defense and the offense can score points. Can they win the division?16-4-0
10
team logo

Cowboys
Dak Prescott
had another big day throwing it against the Lions, but the defense had some issues. They face a tough game at New England this week.
36-4-0
11
team logo

Colts
They pounded the football against the Jaguars for a big day, but will be without
Marlon Mack
because of a broken hand. That's not a good thing heading into the key division game with the Texans.
56-4-0
12
team logo

Texans
The offense was totally shut down by the Ravens and now they have a big division game with the Colts on Thursday. The offensive line has to be better.46-4-0
13
team logo

Rams
They did some good things against the Bears - especially on defense. The running game came alive as well. But now they face a tough one against Baltimore.26-4-0
14
team logo

Eagles
They are so banged up and now their season is on the line this week against Seattle. It's a tough way to try and save it.35-5-0
15
team logo

Chiefs
It wasn't pretty in Mexico City against the Chargers, but they found a way. The defense came up big, but it wasn't the usual explosive offense.37-4-0

Shout out to 12vMan and Fishy for both having 12 wins! Congrats Gents!

Homer and GA are still duking it out at the top 2 spots and pulling away from the field...

Good luck all.......

Just saw Viking kicker Fred Cox passed away last nite at the ago of 80.... Got his autograph after a Bears game in Met Stadium many moons ago. Didn't realize he invented the nerf football.....

Long time since I've seen his name. Well, it's been a long time since he played. RIP.

All day until now I thought it was Wednesday. Thanks Musky. Fred Cox, wow there's a blast from the past. I have to check if he got to any off the Vikes Super Bowls. Invented the Nerf Ball, interesting. It would make him a wealthy man if he made a good deal, They still sell millions of them.

Fred Cox. https://fanbuzz.com/nfl/fred-cox-nerf-football/

If Gronk stops making a fool of himself on the TV shows he produces, in other words pays for himself, I'm all for a comeback. He is terrible on TV, and not funny.

Gronk needs to stay retired. The last couple years of his career he was hurt all the time.... He "used" to be a great TE....

Gronk's body is worth more than the 6 Million Dollar Man's. That guy has had more surgeries to continue playing than most, serious surgeries. I hope him the best staying off the field but give up the comedy thing Gronkowski, please.

The Garret Incident, hopefully not starring The Gronk.

Bills had not 1 player questionable all week or today, Bills OT Ty Nseke out with an ankle, no less than 6 Bronko's questionable and a few out with injury.

More than a few good games on tap. Dallas NE is going to be interesting. I do not like Dallas, whatsoever, and am always happy when they lose. Those guys from Boston won't be caught by The Bills in the AFC East so go New England. Brady seems to be showing his age this week, nicked up a bit, should be a good one. Those playoffs are getting closer. The AFC race is still tight.

Why is it?

Watching the T.B./Falcons game cuz it's the only one on. They just put up a stat about the Falcons giving up 0 TD's in the last 26 opponent drives, the longest string in the NFL. Guess what happened on the next play? Yep - The statistical jinx strikes again! Bucs 7, Falcons 3.

Carolina/Saints game is a sloberknocker. 17 unanswered points by the Panthers. under 2 mins 31-31.

Bills 8-3 1st time since Jim Kelly was under centre. Frank Gore goes to 3rd place in rushing ahead of Barry Sanders. Wild Card looking good. I don't get how a team with a better record than a division leader finishes with goes to a WC spot.

Heartbreaker and season breaker for Carolina, not my favorite team. I don't get their QB1's attitude. Carolina misses winning FG wide right, Saints kick one with seconds to go to win by 3.

Because the division winner always get a playoff spot, no matter what their record is. Doesn't seen right, but those are the NFL rules.

Them's the rules. The NFL needs to change it, they are good at changing rules. The playoff teams with the lesser records go to the Wild Card round, division leader or not, pretty simple really.

I got 6 1 o'clock games today on my Bell TV satellite.

Green Bay might have been beat by OSU they way they looked tonight. Worst game performance ever by Rodgers.

The Ravens looked scary good! Worst part of it is one of my hunting and fishing buddies is a HUGE Ravens fan, and so is my daughter-in-law. I am doomed to hear nothing but how great the Ravens are! Ugh!
