Power Rankings
BIGGEST MOVERS
Up 6 TEXANS
Down 7 RAMS
1
team logo

Ravens
They continue to roll up big numbers on offense and the defense is improving by the week. This team is a legitimate contender.27-2-0
2
team logo

Patriots
They come off their bye licking their wounds from the loss to the Ravens last time out. You can bet they will get past it quickly.28-1-0
3
team logo

49ers
They didn't play well on offense against the Seahawks, but it's just one game. They still lead the division and the NFC.28-1-0
4
team logo

Packers
They got the offense back on track against Carolina. Here's an idea: Don't party on road trips.18-2-0
5
team logo

Saints
That was a terrible loss to the Falcons at home. The bye did this team no good. What happened to the offense?37-2-0
6
team logo

Vikings
That was a big-time road victory for
Kirk Cousins
against the Cowboys. Dare I say it:
Cousins
is in the MVP conversation.
57-3-0
7
team logo

Seahawks
The division is still up for grabs after that victory at San Francisco. It wasn't pretty, but they toughed it out like a lot of good Seattle teams.18-2-0
8
team logo

Texans
They come off the bye with a lead in the division, but face a tough road game against the Ravens. Can they contain
Lamar Jackson
?
66-3-0
9
team logo

Bills
At 6-3, they are still the Wild-Card leader. But they've lost two of the last three games and haven't looked good doing so. They need more offense.--6-3-0
10
team logo

Raiders
Yes, they are in the playoff race. Kudos to Jon Gruden for the job he's done.55-4-0
11
team logo

Eagles
They come off the bye hoping their momentum carries over. It won't be easy to keep it going with a tough home game against the Patriots.55-4-0
12
team logo

Chiefs
At 6-4, they still lead the division. But they have to get things fixed on defense. The run defense was awful against the Titans.26-4-0
13
team logo

Cowboys
Just when they take a big step forward, they always seem to take one in the other direction. Is that coaching?

I am sorry, but you cannot rip off someone’s helmet and hit them over the head with it. The whole game was chippy and there were several unsportsmanlike calls that were missed. Steelers lost 2 receivers because of unsportsmanlike hits (targeting) but only one was called, with an ejection... but Johnson left the game bleeding from his left ear! The Browns v Steelers is never a pretty game, but this one was another “over the top” one. I respect Pouncey and DeCastro for defending their QB, but kicking him in the head and punching him was a little much. The NFL is going to have a hay day with suspensions from this game ...

It will be interesting to see what happens to the Brown guy. They need to drop the hammer on him. The coach should have already said ba bye for now.....

The NFL will be making some big announcements soon. Pouncey will be on the list, kicking just ain't in the cards.

There were a plethora of cheap hits throughout the game ... it is Browns v Steelers ... but the League needs to go through the film and give out many suspensions. Kitchens lost control of the team, so maybe even a team forfeit would be in order ... it has to be something that hurts or this will continue on ... these 2 team play each other in 2 weeks ... something needs to be done so there is not a repeat.

AS this abomination was happening on live TV I was screaming at the tube ban him for 5 games. Later on I was calling for a ban for the rest of the season. Today I say a lifetime ban from the NFL, that would sent a real point to the rest of the league. Welcome to Canada stupid and your 80K annual salary, in Canuck funny money you idiot. A game that will live on in infamy.

DeCastro or maybe it was Pouncy, whomever, he doesn't have a future in MMA or Boxing. He threw 2 or 3 rights to the head of stupid from a foot away and missed every one. Convictions have been successful for fights in Hockey before and that's a hockey fight that happens almost every game. It's up to the Cleveland DA to go forward with charges for assault of the Pitt QB. This sad story isn't over by a long shot.

Many great match ups today. I gave my wife an inch of money so I will have the big TV for a few hours at least. I'm getting 5 games at 1PM on our Sat provider. It was an inch of 5's with a 20 on top and bottom!

Well, time to try to figure out which prohibitive favorites are going to get whacked today.

You dog!

Another blown PI call after a challenge. Oilers receiver was clearly interfered by the Raven defender.

I have a NFL rules question you guys might know the answer to. I know if a kick off goes out of the field of play there is a penalty to the kicking team. If I recall there is also a penalty to the punting team if the punt goes out somewhere within the field of play. Am I losing it, again? Maybe the Comical Football League, the CFL.

PI has been reviewable up here for a few years. The CFL also moved point after atempts, used to be called converts, to the 35 years before the NFL did. I think the NFL watches how some things they are thinking about doing after the CFL puts them in the rules.

When did they change what was called the "1st down marker" to "The point of gain" or some stupid thing?

My Bills are actually scoring TD's not all field goals today and the D has 3 sacks in the 1st quarter, they are playing lights out on defence. Ok, ok it's the Fish we are playing in summer like weather but Fitz is no slpouch QB when he is on., he's not on today, yet. This Allen kid is improving every game. If he stays healthy the NFL had better watch out for this raw talent that is getting ripper and ripper every week. Not many watch Bills games other than die hard members of the Bills Mafia and this kid that has a rocket for an arm. Watch him for a bit and you may see what I see.
