I have a 2015 Mercruiser 4.3L MPI with an Alpha I gen 2 outdrive
I have an issue with the boat stalling when going from drive to neutral.
I have checked the shift cable adjustments and confirmed they are properly adjusted.
not sure if there is an adjustment or procedure to adjust the shift interrupter switch ?
Not sure if my idle is too low when shifting (650 RPM ).
Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance

watch the interupter as you shift out of gear . If it hangs instead of springing back you need a new shift cable

Thank you i will check into that , does it matter if it is running when you check ?
The boat is currently in the water for the season.

the switch will only activate IN THE WATER coming out of gear. Any other time is a bad shift cable or corrosion
