2014 15 HP Hona Over Heating, but still has water coming from pee hole.

Could the water impeller be bad and still show it circulating out the pee hole. What else would I need to check?

How do you know it's an overheat cond, lower leg caught a plastic bag, debris and didn't know till overheated while at speed ? was OB turned off, revs were limited to minimum, smoke came out from top cowl, electrical wires sheat close to powerhead were deformed ?

Was that a partial or severe overheat ? Need to pull lower leg down and check impeller, if lower leg caught something while at speed impeller revving high and dry should be found melted, fried, kaput...Check thermo cond, if oxidized, rusted, extreme salted, put a new one in. Anyway when experiencing an overheat cond need to retorque cylinder head bolts, exhaust cover bolts and lower powerhead bolts back to specs.
