As decided last year we are going to start the nominations a little earlier to allow more time for the mob to mull it over so to speak.

Nominees as of Dec 23-13 I will keep this list updated.

Grandad's Holiday
Dozer's SS201
Inmotion's 64 Jet
Budski's SS V5
ChemicalWire 18 Chief
Odyssesy350kc's 67 Jet
bgc's 63 Jet star
ctswf's 69 18' Offshore V
Jacobmeyers 72 CC conversion
cj8mule 72 16 SS
CB76's StarTrek
The wrks 68 Holiday V120
Billavista 78 Holiday V5

I'm going to open this years nominee's with Grandad's 21 Holiday, his attention to detail and machining skills are awesome. I think his Holiday is a very clean looking, functional rebuild.
And a link.

I would vote for a certain black and white Islander... but a bowdectamy makes me wonder if she will be splashed this year!

Are we still gonna wait for a January vote or does voting end earlier as well?

I know Glen picked up the award last year but I don't feel bad at all nominating him again for this year. Dood, when you got it, you got it....

Thanks a bunch Jason, coming from you that means lot. It's too bad tour Sea Nymph wasn't a StarCraft or it would have been the first one on the list.

Re: 2013 soty award nominations

Come on everyone we need some nominations here, there are only two and they are both from north of the 49th.
JB step in here, but If I remember right, was it the middle of December we were going to close nominations and start the voting, so we can have the decision in for the New Year and the plague to the new winner earlier?

Sorry for the small pic. Just too lazy to fix.

I nominate InMotion's, 1964 Blonde on Black Starcraft Jet. Sweet looking run-a-bout right there. Nice man wreath too.

Normally I'd say wow. I've become spoiled over the last few years. Old boats that look brand new are now the norm.

This crop does not disappoint. The quality is up to par. Good job fellas. Ok after looking at the pics again, damn fine work gents.:D

Nominate any boat that was finished this year. It's on like Donkey Kong.

Good to be back JB.

I agree.......it is amazing to see the old boats that look like they just rolled off the showroom floor. Some great quality work and dedication rebuilding and restoring these boats. Hard to nominate any one boat as each one has merit for nomination for different reasons, be it wood work, metal work, redesign, paint/graphics, etc.. Great looking boats for all that completed their projects this year.

Hi Glen. At risk of starting a border skirmish, I'd like to nominate Budski's 18' SS. She looks real smart John and most certainly deserves a nomination.
At this time, there's only 4 Canucks in the race. How about some nominations from south of the 49th? - Grandad
