when connecting throttle cables to engine,does the cable pull forward under the cowling for forward and push aft for reverse.I have had some shade tree guys confuse me.
You can easily tell which is which by moving the shift arm manually into the gears and then turning the prop with your hand. In forward gear, the prop can't turn backwards and makes a clicking sound when turned forward.
