I'm in the market for a S.S. Prop and dont really know how to select the best for the boat. The boat weighs 1260 lbs empty and runs at the top end of the factory estimated speeds. However, the paint is now coming off the prop and it cavitates bad in turns. Looking to stay with the current performance and, if possible, less cavatation. At the price of props I'd like to get it right the first time. Any help would be great.

We need a lot more information before we can help.
Please read the stickys at the top of the prop forum and get us as much information as possible.
Are you going ss to ss or changing from a al prop.
