I just bought this motor in August 2012, but have had trouble all duck season with keeping it started once its shifted into gear, it just chokes down as though the gas is cut off once you open the throttle. The idle has been impossible to get adjusted as well . . . a hair turn this way and it revs too high or a hair the other way and it just dies. Should I just take the carb off and clean it for good measure? I assume that the only idle adjustment is just the single, spring loaded screw on the left side of the carb?
