2012 50 hp Suzuki will not start

My brother has a 2012 I believe 5hp Suzuki on his Boaton Whaler. I have had his boat at my house for about a year and a half. Last night we pulled it out and gave it a good scrub, drained all the fuel tank and filters. Put in new fuel in all, inatalled a new battery and tried to fire it off. It turn over fine but no kick at all! So in desperation we used a propane bottle with a little tube and fed it in the air cleaner and he turned the key and it started right up? I am thinking no fuel to the injectors? Where should i go from here? We know it will run off of fuel "propane" for a few seconds. Where are the fuses I could check? I think the safety switch and neutral must be working or it wouldnt fire off the propane or no? The shop cannot look at it for 3-4 weeks so I would like to do what I can but I am not familiar with this motor.
