Thought I would start a thread on everyone's gardening experiences for this year. Some good things to post are what kind of produce, what variety, and how well the plants are producing. Also what is working, and what isn't.
So far, my tomatoes that are all better bush variety, are doing well. As of today, I have picked 7 vine ripe tomatoes that have great taste. They kind of remind me of the beef steak variety.
Jalapeno peppers are starting to produce, and are not intensely hot yet.
Cabbage was picked a week ago, and it was nice and sweet. This was a good year for cabbage.
Potatoes are doing well. New potatoes are nice.
Green beans are producing too well. Need to give more away...
Cucumbers are slow
Onions are sweet this year.
Lettuce is over producing too. People look me up to get some.....glad they do.
I didn't plant corn this year, the coons usually get it before I do. Any how it has been a good growing year so far here.

Had decent strawberries this year, but the others are SLOOOOOWWWW. Green beans are doing great - like you, we need to give more away. Tomatoes are okay, nothing stupendous though. Cucumbers on the other hand are not only going gangbusters, but are the best tasting we've ever had (I'm actually not tired of eating them yet!).

Hoping the peaches get going, but the tree is still young.

My tomatoes are doing good, my pepper's are moving along, my egg plant seems stable, bush cucumber's are not showing blossoms yet...... but my wife's garden herbs (Basil, cilantro, dill, parsley chives and a few more) are going great.

We had a slow start here in VT.

Started picking my tomatoes about a week ago. Average is 5-7 every other day. I have Celebrity and Better Boy. Strawberries had an initial rush about three weeks ago, then the bushes sent out runners, and since then only one has produced additional flowers. No ripe fruit. Bell peppers are coming along. Plants have between 2 and 4 big green peppers apiece. Waiting until they turn color to pick. Meanwhile they have just flowered again and I can see new peppers already. I planted everything second week of April.

To much rain it will be interesting to see if we get any fruit at all. Blue berries are doing well and the figs in the green house are doing very well. The grapes look to be small and sour.

Heck, we have at least another month before I have to worry about picking any produce!

My wife and son just went blueberry picking as a place close to my house. OMG were they sour. Yuck and too bad. :(

My squash and Zucchini did good until the squash bugs and heat got them. My corn is slow to produce the stalks are short but corn is really good. tomato plants look good but only have picked 3 off one plant others have no tomatoes on them. My pepper plants produced 1 pepper and then died. Strawberries did terrible. Cantaloupe is coming along good should have a couple in a week or so. Cucumbers are doing good. It has been to hot here I don't recall how many days over 100 we have had but it sure makes the garden not produce good. we need some good rain and cooler weather for it to do better
