2010 tohatsu tillers

i've heard a rumor that the new tohatsu's will have a new shifter on the tiller handle at the throttle. as in a twist cable. almost like a trolling motor handle. counter clock...foward.......clockwise...reverse
anyone else heard this?

That would be awesome but I doubt that .... getting my new 2010 M50D-2 in a months time, will let you know if it is different ... will make racing easier but I doubt they have changed anything ....
