Serial 6C6 L 1015732.
Not getting fuel.
If I open the fuel line immediately after the fuel pump and crank the engine, I get nice pulses of fuel.
If I open the fuel line at the fuel rail, just prior to the injectors, and crank the engine, I get nothing. No fuel.
The vapor separator seems to be full as I can open the weep hole and get good flow.
Any directional pointers?
Thanks,
J

I initially found no fuel at engine's connection, which was isolated to a bad primer bulb. The bulb was replaced. It seemed like the engine sucked every last drop of fuel it could throughout the supply line before it died. The fuel level in the water separator can was so low the pick-up was dry.
I replaced and primed the water separator and finally got fuel to fill the line through the engine's fuel pump when the primer bulb was squeezed.
The engine will kick but still does not start, so the subsequent check at the injector rail.
As mentioned above, the vapor separator seems to have fuel. When the petcock at the bottom of the vapor separator bowl is opened, fuel flows freely out the exhaust tube.
Am I supposed to prime the vapor separator in special fashion?
Thanks,
J

my guess would be the high pressure pump in the VST ran without fuel in it and locked up from no fuel flow thru it to cool and lube it while it was running.

Got into the VST. Fuel pump was not working. Rapped it a few times with power applied and voila!
Yamaha service bulletin #063020230001: Beat on it.
Now I'm certified!
Gonna put it back in with the knowledge that it is on its way out.
Thank you for your help,
J
