2010 Evinrude 150 hp Etec HO

Looking at purchasing a 2001 1850 crestliner sportfish with this Rude. I have run into some negative input on the net in regards to the E-tecs and powerheads. In particular this thread:

Wondering if I can get some feedback.

I don't see any mention of the 2010 or new in the above thread and wondered if they had resolved the issues. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Now that was interesting reading. Maybe somebody should send that to BRP and see what they have to say.
