2009 Yamaha 25HP 2 stroker

I am looking at trading my 2008 Nissan 30HP 4 Stroke for once of these. Is there anything I can do to pep up the 2 stroke? Ive read about removing restrictor plates, new reeds, etc...Guess i am looking for more performance...the reason I am wanting to trade is they do not allow 30HP boats on some wildlife management areas for duck hunting...usually 25hp and lower.

There's not much you could/should do to increase the HP, but I expect that 25HP 2 stroke may feel as strong or stronger than your 30HP 4 stroke. The 2 strokes just seem to have a better "kick" to them since they fire twice as often. Good Luck!
