I recently purchased an 2009 Cabrio from a private party. All of the systems worked properly on the sea trial but now I am having what appear to be anomalies with both Shore Power and Battery Power. I discovered on my first overnight away from the marina, with the engine off, when I put the battery switch on to #2, nothing worked. When I switched to #1 or both, the cabin lights worked but no 110V appliances worked. With the engine on, the cabin lights worked with the battery switch in the 1,2 and both position but none of the 110v appliances came on. On shore power, all of the 110V appliances work but the for the cabin lights to work the battery switch has to be in the 1 or both position. The #2 position turns the cabin lights on only if the battery charger is turned on or the engine is running. I removed the shore power and turned the ignition to off and the #2 battery metered at 13.5V. I was told by the seller there is an inverter but can't find where it is (the only place I haven't look is behind the AC panel). I've checked all fuses and all of the obvious things but didn't want to start removing things unless I had to. I think my next move it to check the battery switch and remove the AC panel to check connections and see if there is an inverter with a reset switch behind there. Does it sound like I a missing anything obvious before I start pulling things apart?
