2008 Optimax 225

4 beep alarm witch I'm being told is the oil reservoir inside the motor. Oil is moving through the system. I can see the reduced main tank level in the Nitro boat. Can I disconect the alarm to trouble shoot the problem without damaging the motor?

That could be a problem with the float switch in the engine oil tank. Your engine may be under warranty yet. I would take it to a reputable Mercury dealer, they should be able to help.
