Hi Guys I'm new to the moomba world.

I was changing my prop and I noticed the rubber around the shaft seems to be warn unevenly. Is this cause for concern and I need to change some parts or do I send it ?

Someone at the factory or dealer didn't align the shaft to trans coupling correctly. It should be adjusted to 0.003 or less. My guess its probably closer to 0.010

The cutlass bearing will wear out over time if not fixed

It also would be good to re check the alignment with the boat in the water before bolting the flanges together. It is possible that the trailer has caused the stringers to slightly shift over time. There are tools that will remove and replace the cutlass bearing without removing the strut.
Also the shaft has to be checked for any run out.
