Motor starts fine and runs well but will intermittently activate the guardian and power down. I had a diagnostic run ( because that’s all the dealer had time for) which reported a high battery voltage up to 17. I replaced the voltage regulator and the battery. I checked all cables and connections. I also had replaced the wiring harness and the solenoid. When I run the engine and put on a voltage meter the battery runs up and stays around 14. Can’t figure out what is causing a high voltage error. Could it be the ECM? Wouldn’t a diagnostic indicate if the ECM had issues?
