I need some help in making a decision
I have the opportunity of purchasing the above motor, the problem is I need to travel 650klms to have a look which isn;t a drama.
My concern is that the boat has been sitting on the transom of a boat in salt water for the past 2 years, it has daily use, mechanically its all good. MY concern is rust in the motor, I asked the guy about flushing it with fresh water and he hasn;t done it since it has been in the salt.
Not happy about that
He said that the inside won't rust unless its exposed to air, so I am a little skeptical.
Any help would be appreciated.
