2008 175hp Mercury

Motor cranks fine but for the first 5 minutes runs like it is bogged down at full throttle, like 1000 - 1500 rpm off the top end. Enough that when it does pick up it you really feel it. After that it runs fine the rest of the trip. Replaced the plugs, decarb, sea foam (2-3 cans) but still does it. Sometimes when it is the mode the motor sounds like it is knocking (scary)

Is the choke hanging

hmmm good question, sounds like that could cause it. does the choke open after warm up on this motor or ???

Is it a DFI ,EFI or carb motor??? From your description sounds like a CDM module failing..
