Hello Everyone,
I just replaced the water pump on my 2007 yamaha vz175. I referenced other forum posts and followed the instructions. Once I completed the installation I put the engine on muffs to ensure I had water flow out of the exit port for the water circulation which I did.
The thing I'm worried about/don't know if is correct is I have water exiting out of the back side of the casting on the lower unit. There is a port there but I can't for the life of me recall if water exited from this area previously. I'm including some an image with the area of concern highlighted in yellow for reference. Can anyone shed some light on if water should be coming out of this location in the lower unit?
