2007 volvo penta 3.0 135hp alarm sounding 3500 rpm's

An alarm is sounding when I am 3/4 to full throttle 3500 - 4000 rpm's.
no loss of power. all gauges are good. temp gauge is not high. trim tilt is down all the way. Any idea's what is making this alarm sound?
Drive serial# 4202192266 (think it is an SX-A)

trim tilt is down all the way.

Can't imagine a need for having it all the way down at full power, trim it up a little and see what happens. What is your engine serial number, not the drive number?

On a boat that new, I would ask the dealer whom you bought it from. You do not want to be guessing because the alarm may be sounding because of a potential problem.

Thanks = engine serail number is 4012260849. Do alarms sound for
trim tilt?

No, there is no alarm for trim, but you are overloading the engine if you are bow down and plowing thru the water instead of planeing.
