2007 Rinker Captiva 226 - is this overpriced

I am looking at a 2007 Rinker Captiva 226 that is for sale on facebook marketplace. The seller has it listed for $28,000. Has 250 hours - when I look it up on NADA high list is $18,000 - seller told me to not go by the NADA because they haven't been updated in years. Boat is in great condition - just wondering if this is way overpriced for the year and brand of boat?

Tough question at the moment. I feel like the price is several thousand high, but the market has been kinda' nuts. Boat prices are pretty high right now.

NADA helps give you an idea, but often doesn't fit the entire story. If you do some boat searches in your area, same size, year range, etc. and then compare prices - that gives you your best idea of what you're going to spend.

Also do a few searches in cities that you'd be willing to drive to - get an idea of what those markets look like and then you'll have a little more to work with.
