I have a 2007 Opti-max 115 DFi. The fuel/water sensor went off. Drained the tank and put in fresh gas. When fuel level reached under a quarter alarm went off again. My mechanic tells me to run it through and keep adding clean fuel. I asked him a about installing a water separator like a Raycor. He says you could but may hinder engines performance. Some say yes and some say no. Does anyone know if you should or shouldn't. Thanks jack3513.
