2007 Nissan Pathfinder transmission question

Are there any Nissan tech's on here?
I am having problems with the TCC.
It is the RE5R05A transmission.

What codes are you getting......bad shift points??

No codes.
Just a bad shudder at lock-up.
Put on a new converter along with the input shaft o-ring (it was in bad shape).
With no change.
I tore the transmission completely apart, everything looked like new in it.
I was planning on taking the valve body apart, but I didnt.
I didnt have much info on it. It appears they are usually just replaced.
I am thinking about getting a used transmission for 2000 dollars. A reman valve body runs about 800.
I am 99% sure my problem is in the vb.
But with no codes it is a guess.
