I am new to inboard ski boats. Had Mercruiser i/o for 20 years. Two good batteries in Malibu vtx with indmar 340 hp monsoon. Boat starts fine, it just seems like it turns over very slow. I took buddy who is familiar with in boards for ride and when I started the boat, his immediate statement was that it had slow starter just like I thought. Is this normal for these fuel injected indmar engines to turn over slower than a mercruiser? If no then probably check connections first and then maybe new starter?
