Have little over 50 hrs on a 115 hp E-tech. In idle after about 1 min. a "no oil" buzzer and warning light is present.

Oil tank if 3/4 full (w/ xd100 sythetic oil) and there is visible movement of oil in recirc. tubes on power head. The EMM has been programmed to run on the XD100.

My dealer is having trouble connecting to the EMM unit. He says it's a software problem even though he has a new laptop and BRP provided USB cable and software. He also claims to have updated all programs.

My options are limited w/ the next nearest service tech. on another island, approx. 100 miles away.

Also, the oil in the front port side clear oil recirc. tubes was milky at another time. Dealer siphoned it out and claims to have fixed the problem, even though he doesn't know how the water got there. At this time no water is present in that tube.

Anyone know how I would be able to purchase the software and USB cable necessary to download info off of my EMM unit.

the model # is: E115DPXSU

Thanks in Advance

this company advertises the software and cable:

Water got into your oil from the tank being in an exposed location. Either waves, rain, washing, or getting submerged from leaving the drain plug in was the reason. Since you have 50 hours of use on the motor, the water may have messed up the pressure sensor or pump.

If your dealer won't help or doesn't know how, call the customer service line at 647 689 7090 with your serial number and tell them the story.

Thank you once again Seahorse for the info.

Have you dealt w/ Blue Water Boats before? Are they reputable.

Thanks again

Never did any mail order with them. I found the link on The Hull Truth where others got parts from them. I thought that it was neat that they dedicated a whole web page to the software and cable for FICHTS and E-TECs.

I have a 2007 225 E-Tec that had smae problem. It ended up being a bad oil sensor. Hope this might help.
