What should my fuel pressure be on a 2007 75hp optimax.
I checked it on the fuel rail and it was 26psi at the top place to check and on the bottom was 40psi is the bottom air pressure?
Do i check it somewhere else.

That is way too low. i have an Opti 115 and the fuel pressure is 108psi and air is 94psi. The difference between you air/fuel pressure is about right (14 psi) so I would suspect your air compressor or your air regulator.

Was that with it running? I would think just cranking it that it would be lower but I may be wrong.

I am pretty sure the pressure gets to its operating range within a few cranks of the engine. In any event I would check with a manual or you can even email Mercury Customer Service with your serial number and they will tell you the pressure range for the fuel and air.
