2007 5.7 running rough

my 5.7 merc just started running rough at and idle after being rocked by waves. seems to load up. what would be the problem? Float in carb?

Could use a tad more info. Is this a new to your boat? What kind of maintenance been done this season?

Being a 2007 you sure it has a carb? Have a motor serial number?

Ayuh,..... Welcome Aboard,...... I'd start by examinin' the Contents of the fuel filter for anything but Clean Fresh Gasoline,....

Could have stirred up crud in float bowl and partly clogged up idle circuit...
