I recently bought a 07 F4 4stroke outboard for my dink, I got it fairly cheap but would have perferred a higher hp model.
Looking at the specs and parts listings for the same year 4 & 6 hp models everything looks just about the same except the carb needles.
I would like to know if I were to change out the parts would that increase my power output??
ci, cc, compression, bore-stroke.. everything is identical except for prop and few carb parts..??
Maybe someone out there has already done this with success, It would be a nice way to get a 50% gain in power for little $$
