2007 150 EFI running sluggish

I’ve had this boat/motor a little more than 1.5 years. After being serviced, it runs fantastic. After only a few months though, it’ll gradually start running terrible. This is a consistent cycle. We’ve used the same mechanic and I’ve asked what the problem is. The only thing he’s ever told me that I can understand being an issue is the changing of spark plugs. Any suggestions?

Need to have injectors serviced as rich....

Are injector cleaners worth a shot before getting the service? I remember the mechanic saying this service was a pain to do.

Additives are worthless as they cannot clean the inlet screens. And its not a hard process...1 hr remove and 1hr reinstall max.
