What is the recommended service interval on the timing belt?. My motor is a 2006 but only has 103 hours on it. I visually inspected the belt and didn't see any signs of cracking
If it was me, I'd replace that belt now and consider myself fortunate to have gotten 13 years of use out of the old one.....I mean, why press your luck?
Most manuals I've read say every 5 years or 1000 hours (whichever comes first). But if you see no cracking and you can't measure more than 14mm of slack with a micrometer, I would say it's ok.
