Need to replace all the fuel lines under the engine cowling. Most lines are no longer available. Need a aftermarket solution.
I believe the tohatsu old lines size to be 6mm. I tried 1/4 which is 6.3mm and you could feel it was looser. I can just use 1/4 with fuel friendly clamps BUT the OD of the 1/4 is bigger than the old lines, not taking bends as easy or taking up more place.
I saw 6mm yamaha line $4 a foot at Parts Vu . Says 6mm inner diameter but I dont know if the outter diameter is the same smaller thickness the old lines where.
Anyone else do aftermarket fuel lines under the cowling? If so any info is much appreciated. Any sourcing , clamps , clips that you have used.
Seems like options are find the same 6mm fuel line, matching the ID and OD of the old lines.
Or use 1/4 and deal with the added size , also use fuel friendly clamps to make up for the added ID size.
Thank you,
