I put my 2006 df6 long shaft in a barrel of water to check it out prior to selling it, and noticed right away that it was only weakly weeping out the telltale hole. I shut it down immediately and blew compressed air into the telltale hole and got lots of bubbles coming out the exhaust so it seemed clear. At that point I assumed it was the impeller. I'd better mention that the motor has only about 12 hrs on it. I replaced the impeller and nothing changed. Now I'm at a loss, I've exhausted my limited knowledge of outboard cooling systems. Anyone out there got suggestions?
