Greetings all … RE: Mako 1801 that I ran from 2006 to 2013 - has 200 hours …
BiL stored it and was good about starting on muffs up until his health declined and it has not been started in two years … Plan to do a piston soak and purge fuel before cranking …
I ordered: water pump kit, NGK plugs, six gallon tank for E0 first run, 4 micron pre filter/separator, fuel filters, and a jug of genuine OptiMax oil
Next is 2 batteries for 12v RipTide trolling motor and new cranking battery … and of course inspect hoses and belts - change main fuel line etc
Plan to fish a small bay and stay 5 miles from the ramp …
Anything else I need to worry about ? The compressor is pretty expensive to change just because … What say you?
