Looking at a 2006 CL 250CR and not sure how the controls work? How do you 'idle up' in neutral? There is a button at the center but it doesn't seem to do anything. Boat is on a trailer and owner wasn't around and probably doesn't know (long story). Anyway, as far as I can tell it is not fuel injected? If it is it is TBI. Can't open the hatch with no batteries but it is propped open a couple of inches and the picsI got with my phone show a small round air cleaner (spark arrestor) that says 5.7 Merc on it.

Push and hold the button in and move the lever forward. The motor should stay in neutral and the motor speed will increase.

Need to push both buttons. As GA said the bottom is throttle only and top is the lock to hold in neutral

Thanks. Didn't seem like that bottom button pushed in. I can move the lever with only pushing in the top gray button but I assume that engages the drive?
