I have a Sea Pro 22ft CC with this motor on it, and I can't seem to get enough speed or RPMs with it. The motor runs great and the boat handles great; good hole shot; but not enough top end/speed. I've tried 2 different SS props, a Honda S 3 blade 19pitch 15R, and a Stiletto 3 blade 17 pitch 14.25R. Both of them will only push about 4000 rpms and 35mph. The max I ever got in perfect conditions was 4200 and 38mph. This boat isn't that heavy and I know there's a remedy out there somewhere. I'm thinking I should be pushing approx. 5500rpm and 45mph at top speed when I get everything sorted out.
