2006 Evinrude Ficht Ram Injection

Hello all!

I am about to purchase a boat. The guy tells me that the motor is a 2006 Evinrude 115 with Ficht Ram Injection. Am I wrong, but I didnt think they made the ficht ram injection model in 2006. I thought it was only etec and DI. Im a rookie so take it easy on me, but I did a bunch of searching and did not find any concrete answers on this. Could someone please shed some light on this for me?

Brp was still builting 115 ficht in 2006.

Etec is a upgraded in Ficht technology, with a new name to take the bad taste out of everyones mouth.
