Just installed a used engine that came off my cousin's boat he wanted to upgrade. Engine worked perfectly for 8 years purchased new. I decided to install on my boat and first 2 starts was excellent. Checked a couple systems visually and started the 3rd time. Suddenly engine will not start. Almost seems like the engine turns over and then kicks back against the starter. Remove the plugs and turn over fine. There is oil coming out the exhaust which I know that's where it goes but could be too much. Is there a way to reset the computer via remote controls or is that something I would have to see a dealer? Any suggestions at all would be a help thanks.
