My 2005 Yamaha 4 stroke(LF250TURD) has developed a idle issue when warm. My idle when out of gear increased about 200 rpm. When its in gear it loses about 100, going down to 500 and sputtering. This only seems to occur when warm. In researching this motor I found that it does not have a TPS. There are no codes currently stored in the motor. When plugged into a scan tool I noticed there are 2 different TPS readings which are not similar. Plugs look fine and there are not obvious signs of damage to anything near the throttle bodies. I did notice the backing of the thermosensor (gel- like material) was starting to separate but the wires seemed fine. I did order a new one. Any suggestions? Where is the tps reading coming from and is there a way to test? Thanks
