yes, i recently replaced most of the wheels inside the tiller handle where the throtttle cables attatch along with the throttle cables. and i checked the kill switch wires and they looked good. i would try disconnecting the wires and run it to see if thats the issue but then i dont know how would i shut the engine off?

you can also shut the engine off by holding the button on the tilller handle or disconnect the fuel line and let the gas burn out

I am still a newb at engine repair and own a 2006 15hp. Looks to me like it is starving for fuel when you open throttle. If nobody can help you hear you can try contacting leeroy twinpine@compprime.com from lee royramblings

815 views and no solid leads? cmon people! lol

I watched it like 8 times and could not tell. In the video it looks like you engine bogs down once reached wot. Please make a more detailed video from start to finish then maybe someone here can recognize the issue. Also try running it in a barrel and see if this issue continues with no load

Have you squeezed the primer bulb when it starts to die? If this makes it run better look for a bad fuel pump or air leak, if it's still dies check the carb again. Also, did you try a different fuel tank, sometimes a piece of junk floats around in the tank and eventually covers the end of the pickup tube, when the motor dies it drops off and the cycle starts again.

i know , its just hard to ride around with my phone in my hand waiting for it to happen. lol . i will try my best. but i can only get it to do it out on the water. ive had the flush hose connected to it and let it run for just about 45 minutes in my yard and it didnt do anything.

no sir , i tried pumping it and still the same. didnt help. i have not tried a different fuel tank. im about to just purchase a new one. any recommendations ? i was looking at west marines tanks , but didnt like the reviews. i was just thinking of buying a quicksilver tank off ebay.

Had the same problem with a 9.9 2005 4 stroker, after many trips in for service and my own troubleshooting and a lot of head scratching. The fuel line in the engine from carb to quick disconnect was breaking down internally, when full throttle was being used the rubber would act like a check valve under heavy load. Never thought this would it but is was. Have to love ethanol.
