Looking at a four winns 305 efi with a cobra drive. I'm assuming its a 260 hp motor. But the big question is are cobra drives as solid as the sx drives?
The word Cobra ended in 98 when Omc ended. In 2005, there was nothing but SX. If the drive on a 2005 boat says Cobra on it, it's an older drive. Still an SX, just a used drive. Be sure of gear ratio.
Look on the port/forward part of the drive hiding behind the trim cylinder. There should be a tag with the drive info on it. What's on that tag?
1995 sx cobra drive..200 hours..I assume the omc is the lesser drive guy wants a ton of money for it so just making sure..Just realized its a old tbi motor..Thank you Oracle..
