2004 Yammie vs. Honda?

I'm looking at a couple different boats and need help with hrs. on motor. Is 450 hrs. on a boat motor something to be concerned about? The Yammie is an 04' model 150 Hp. 4 stroke that I know has been serviced and maintained very well. The Honda is a 90's model that I don't know much about. This is my first boat buy and don't know a lot about the life of a motor . Any help, input? Thanks

It seems like you are comparing apples and oranges. What type of boat, what year is the Honda. Honda has been making 4 stroke outboards longer than anyone. They are some of the most reliable engines and usually priced higher than comparable engines.

04 should still be under warranty
