2004 Yamaha F 150 Non-clearance or Clearance Engine

Folks - I have a 2004 Yamaha F150 (903 hour) and I was running around 30 mph this weekend when the engine just quit. I removed the cowling and discovered the belt broken and one of the gears broken. Was going to replace the belt and pulley, however, no one had the gear in stock, only the belt.
Now I am unsure if this motor is a clearance or non-clearance engine?
Can someone help?
