2004 yamah 150 alarm 2 strok

my alarm is sounding after short time of running.
1. the water pump appears to be pumping water as motor runs the water strim is constance, water is semi warm not hot but not cool.

2. the engin appears to be oiling as well.

3. have duel batterys both are around 11.5 volts.

the battters are 8 years old could it be low volts and need to replace the batters?

there is a very good chance it is either thermostats or your bypass valve, my gues would be by pass, on back of motor there is a large hose going to a fitting with 2 bolts, remove, clean and replace rubber grommet, get new gasket if necessary, remember orientation when taking apart, good luck what lights are lit on guage?
